If you have a view somewhere around the house and an opportunity to enjoy it, do it! Get this view for some of the rooms or at least one room and enjoy it all the time. Views are usually integrated into living rooms and bedrooms but I also love bathrooms and dining spaces with a view – they are always very special. A kitchen with a view is a more seldom occasion but still fantastic! Let’s take a look at some ways to frame this view in the best way possible in your kitchen.
Glazed Walls
A glazed wall or even several glazed walls are amazing for enjoying the views – garden, forest, mountain, any other that you have. Such a wall due to its seamless look creates a feel that you are already there and makes this scenery part of your kitchen look. If you add a glass door to this scenery, you will be to open your kitchen to outdoors. The only disadvantage I’d name is poor insulation – a frequent thing with extensive glazing, which can lead to heat leaks in the space in winter. Such an idea is widely used in contemporary, modern, minimalist and even wabi-sabi kitchens.

Window Backsplashes
A window backsplash is a trendy idea that has a number of advantages: it’s easy to install, you will get more natural light if you are lacking it, you will get pretty views instead of just a wall. This idea is more budget-friendly and such a backsplash is always better insulated than a whole glazed wall. A window backsplash is a trendy idea for all types of modern kitchens.

Large Windows
Large windows are the most traditional way to frame the views – they have always been popular. This idea is classic and features some advantages: better insulation than that of glazed walls, stylish look that adds to your kitchen design, lots of natural light, possibility to use windowsills for displaying stuff or making windowsill seats. Not sure about privacy? Add drapes or blinds and voila! This idea works for every type of kitchen, any style and any look, and you can always add a window or change its look to fit your renovation. A glass door that matches your window style can be also a nice addition here, and you will get access to outdoors. Enjoy your views all the time!
