Capitonnage is the hand tufting process that is handed down from generation to generation. Using this traditional upholstery technique, Studio Dafi Reis Doron takes it to an unusual level by using wood beams instead of the typical buttons. Lignes de Capiton is a lounge sofa that found an alternative method that not only pins down the fabric, it creates an alternating linear pattern to what could have been just a flat surface.
