A centerpiece is a must for every festive or party table, it creates a mood and an ambience. Thanksgiving is a very family holiday, so creating a cozy atmosphere is important, so today I’m sharing the coolest centerpieces that you can easily recreate just looking at them.
Cornucopias
This is a traditional symbol of abundance, and such a piece will be great on your Thanksgiving table. Choose a cornucopia of the desired size and material, they are usually woven ones but you can also find wire. Fill it with pumpkins, gourds, wheat, flowers, apples and other stuff that you have, the arrangement may be faux or natural. Create a modern take on this decoration: fill it with bold fruits and berries like pomegranates, grapes, red apples and cranberries.
Wooden Boxes And Bowls
Wooden bowls, crates and boards are great for arranging centerpieces in them. Take a bowl you like and fill it with fall stuff: acorns, gourds, pumpkins, moss balls, corn husks, pinecones, apples and candles. Such a centerpiece is a perfect rustic idea that matches a lot of styles and décor themes and can be created in just a couple of minutes. The variety of such arrangements is endless and you can change it any time.
Glass Vases
Glass vases are another comfy piece for creating fast and simple centerpieces for any holiday. Take a vase, fill it with nuts, acorns or pumpkins and add flowers, wheat and feathers to get a cool and easy centerpiece. If you have natural flowers and need to put them in water, just add some bold orange pumpkins inside the vase.
Pumpkins
Pumpkins are very popular for any kind of fall décor, and of course they can easily become your Thanksgiving centerpiece. Place some pumpkins, flowers, antlers and pinecones right onto the table to get a beautiful centerpiece. Vary the colors making traditional, modern or minimalist versions in neutrals or bold colors. Another idea is to use a pumpkin as a vase, it may be a natural or a faux one, just cut it out and place a bowl with water inside if you have fresh flowers. If they are artificial or you’ve chosen wheat, just place them inside.
Wheat
Wheat is a cool idea for fall décor because it’s like an immortelle and it won’t get ruined. Tie up the wheat and place it into a pitcher, pumpkin vase. You may also choose a beautiful burlap or lace tie or put the wheat into a sack and place on the table.
Other Ideas
Some other centerpieces may be made of corn, corn husks, apples, artichokes, asparagus and other harvest. Use tiered plates and displays, various vases and bowls and create your own masterpieces. Get inspired!
