Kalon Studios launched a new furniture collection that is sustainable and eco-friendly.
Kalon Studios, best known for their minimal kids’ furniture, is expanding into a complete line of furniture and accessories for the home. Based in LA and Germany, they’ve brought their simple unobtrusive elegance to three new collections. Like their children’s furniture, all of the new lines are non-toxic and sustainable.
The Simple Collection lives up to its name. Stripped down and pared back to the essentials, this is a bedroom collection constructed from ash wood and brass. It was inspired by the Japanese principles of Shibui, and consists of four different pieces— a bed frame, dresser, side tale, and mirror.
The Isometric Collection expands on their single Isometric Table to be a full set of wood seating. It gives nod to the Shaker, Mission, and early American design aesthetics with clean lines and careful craftsmanship.
The Coyote Collection consists of leather and wood goods— essential tools for modern living. It’s a little darker, and is constructed of Walnut and Ash wood. The series includes trays, a shaving set, jump ropes, a campaign stool and a belt.
Lastly, the Kalon Organic Bed. A 100% natural, organic mattress and pillow that’s warm and welcoming. The bed is built to deliver on its one goal— natural, high quality sleep.
