Relaxed bohemian style sits more than comfortably in the 19th century Paris family home of Caroline Gayral, where beautiful rugs and Berber prints from her company Fragments mix happily with vintage furniture, art and modern pieces.
Caroline and her husband wanted a friendly nest that reflected an informal and comfortable style, but without losing the original character of the property. So first of all they restored the original parquet floors, marbleized chimneys and windows. The large apartment was transformed into an open layout boho chic space with no doors to fill it with light as much as possible. The main tools used to decorate her dwelling were furniture and colors.
The owners mixed cultures and styles while decorating, for example, you can see a leather armchair from Mendes da Rocha and a pair of wooden armchairs made in Morocco. Caroline brought real artworks from the Atlas Mountains and added designer lamps, antique mirrors and chic furniture and carpets to create an ambience she wanted. The carpets, which are an indispensable part of any boho interior, are adorable, and the warmth and quality go hand in hand with these colorful and long-haired handmade designs.
The apartment was decorated in a practical way but still very stylishly and beautifully, it’s practical aesthetics. Sculptures and works of art nourished the interior with beauty and style. The interiors turned out to be harmonious and chic yet very livable. Enjoy the views of this unique space below!
