Today’s roundup is especially for those who work at home and need maximal functionality and comfort while working. I’m going to share the coolest desk lamps that allow you work comfortably and will be a stylish addition to your modern home office. Some of them have more additional functions, let’s check them out!
T2 is a handmade lamp made using the latest LED technologies, its thin form is achieved thanks to a custom LED board producing 520 Lux of brightness using only 2 watts of power! In a material mix of natural wood, steel glass, and colorful cording, it’s a gorgeous addition to a modern office. The practical side is also considered: the lamp can charge not only from a socket but also from your laptop.
The Pablo LIM Table Lamp is as sleek as they come. LED light with anodized aluminum and graphite finishes, sure to give your desk some mood lighting. This is an ideal piece for a modern home office, especially for a masculine one.
Created by Italian product designer Mario Alessiani, Flamingo is a handmade table lamp born out of no particular concept. The lighting piece includes an LED spot and metal construction built around it for support, hiding the wire and donating stability. Simply put, its aesthetic values are a direct consequence of its structural design. In the case of this project, no starting points were considered for the conception of the lighting feature: it is a lamp born around the light.
It’s something between steampunk, industrial and minimalist – it reminds me of some fantastic animal – this is Naked table lamp by Shahar Katsav. The beauty of this table lamp lies in the exposure of its essential components. The stripped-down design is composed of a soldering board serving as a base, woven copper wiring that gives it malleability to stay upright, and E-10 light holders in a beautiful formation of eight.
Winkel w127 features a dimmer and timer; its warm-white led light source with reflector and diffuser lenses, in combination with a shade and micro gas springs, provides individually adjustable illumination. The lighting piece is manufactured using a specially developed solid fiberglass reinforced bio-polyamide material by BASF that exhibits dimensional stability and is highly chemical-resistant.
These 360° table lamps by Magdalena Chojnacka / Studio Bongo Design reflect two fashionable directions in design: minimalism and eco-friendliness. The lamps are made from a single block of wood and a simple powder-coated rod and called so because the head can rotate all the way around, allowing you to adjust the light to wherever you need it most. The minimalist design is available in two versions – a tall and a short with a textile-covered cord.
This Round Lamp has an original detail, and this is the stem – it forms an exaggerated loop behind the conical shade. There is also a wide shallow shade mounted at a 45 degree angle on the end of the curving steel tube. The gently shaped steel tube could be described as the centerpiece of the lamp because on the one hand it pictures the flow of the current all the way up from the base to the light source within the shade.
New innovative technologies come to our life and even in lights. Lanx is a table lamp as a light source that uses the OLED which guarantees the extreme thinness. The designer Alessandro Marelli emphasized it using a simple laser-cut aluminum foil with a thickness of 3 mm veneer with sheets of walnut and subsequently folded. Thanks to the very thin and light structure, the lamp is ethereal.
A perfect balance of bulbous and linear, the Studio Desk Lamp by Schoolhouse Electric pays tribute to mid-century, adjustable-arm lamps. But the intersecting rods, brass swivels, and steel shade update the design. Available in Industrial Yellow, Factory Black, and Factory White, Studio Desk Lamp features a globose shade, cast iron base, and twisted cloth cord.
The author of the piece not only has a name fit for a comic book superhero, but also the stylistic moxie of same. In fact, the Hex Desk Lamp very much looks like it might outfit the digs of some or other incarnation of The Dark Knight, especially given its hard geometrical edges and somber shade of gray-blue.
