This mid-century modern home is non-typical as it's done with lots of white and light-colored wood.

Most mid-century modern homes are known to have rather an intense and warm color scheme but the home we are featuring today is none of them. It feels very airy, light-filled and a bit more modern than a usual mid-century home due to the use of much light-colored wood and lots of white color.

The home was built in the 70’s and sits on almost an acre of land with some amazing views. The home is on the larger side at over 4k square feet, and the exteriors and landscaping compliment what is going on in the inside of the house. The exterior is clad with black painted wood, there’s a comfy terrace with gravel and large scale tiles, with a small dining zone.

Inside you’ll see a gable roof done in white and highlighted with dark beams and cool chandeliers. The main open layout is separated into two parts; the lower one is a living room with mid-century muted color furniture with an access to the terrace – a glazed wall also brings amazing views. The upper part features a dining zone and a kitchen, the furniture is white and light-colored wood, and the dining set is done with bold mid-century yellow chairs. Lots of windows here and there fill the layout with natural light and let the owners enjoy the views.

The master bedroom is done with a bed, some chairs and a wood clad wall with an arched walkway to the master bathroom. Both spaces feature large windows to enjoy the views. So cool!
