A sofa is a must for every living room, whatever its size, look and configuration is. The typical height of a sofa seat is 17″ to 18″, and I’d like to share some ideas on low seated sofas, the seat of which is lower than 17″. Why them? I adore these soft and welcoming pieces of furniture that are ideal for having guests, conversations, lying, reading and much more!
A low sofa can have any shape and any color, most of them are sectionals. It can be very plain or tufted, it can be upholstered with various kinds of fabric and in all kinds of colors that you can imagine. Some of low sofas have armrests, others don’t, and it’s up to you, what’s more comfortable. They exist in smaller and larger sizes, they can be placed anywhere and in every room they will bring coziness because they are all-soft!

A low sofa can be styled as any other – with blankets and pillows but keep in mind that if you want a more modern and sleek look, skip them all, and if you crave for coziness, use as many as you like and add color with them.
