Located in Praça Da República, in São Paulo, this small apartment has a lot of cool and inspiring design features specifically created to work perfectly with this particular layout and style.
The apartment measures 50 square meters and its rooms are pretty small, so SuperLimão Studio had to be creative and to come up with unique ideas. To create a welcoming, casual-looking and also fun environment, they chose furniture that interacts with the layout. The furniture is generally very simple and designed to be as non-intrusive as possible. Open shelves and custom built-in provide much storage space creating a character and unique look in each room.
The color palette of the apartment is earthy tones, greys and some blue shades. The materials used are plywood, wood, tiles and many sleek surfaces to define the style as contemporary.
The living room opens onto a balcony, with full-height windows and sliding doors that let lots of sunlight inside and also create a sense of openness by visually extending the room. There’s also a small home office space in the room, which is represented with a floating desk and a chair. The master bedroom is done with much concrete and two glazed walls with an access to a corner balcony, so it’s flooded with light. The kitchen is a small space done with white cabinets and a neutral tile backsplash. The bathroom is another small and functional space with a floating vanity, a lit up mirror and touches of black.
