London-based designer Samuel Wilkinson noticed how people tend to store their items and things they don’t need at the moment and expressed the result of his observations in a series of low tables called Scallop for Danish design brand Versus. Every table has depressions in the top to stop small items rolling around. The name is derived from the table’s curves edges. The designer says that the uniquely v-shaped tubular legs give balance and lightness while still complementing the soft-edged plateau top. The depressions give you kind of organization of space and highlight the pieces you store.
