Looking for a weekend getaway that transports you from the hubbub of city life to a secluded hideaway situated between the expanse of the greenery? Wanna recharge your mind and body and be inspired by the finest pleasures that nature has to offer? The place we are featuring today is right what you are looking for!
Just a quick 90 minute drive from Cape Town, you’ll find an intimate cabin (around 60 square meters). This cabin called Copia (Latin for abundance) was constructed from two 12×2.5m recycled shipping containers on a farm just outside Bot River.
The cabin is divided into three spaces; the open plan kitchen and living room, the bedroom and the bathroom that all include panoramic views of the pleasing surrounds. There is a gas hob, fridge and freezer with cutlery and crockery in the kitchen with a couch to comfortably recline in while savoring the warmth of the fireplace. My favorite space here is the bathroom, which is flooded with light due to lots of windows and as there are no neighbors, you needn’t worry about privacy. You’ll find it hard to pull yourself away from the outside deck, which includes a barbecue and a wood-fired hot tub that is preheated and ready for use as soon as you check in. While you can bring your own eats along with you there are also a myriad of wine farms and restaurants in the surrounding areas as well as a small herb garden outside with farm fresh eggs and rusks in the pantry. Get inspired to book this place for your own holiday!
