Windows are a must for every space as they enliven any room, they can be bay, bow, usual, floor to ceiling ones and many other, and I’d like to tell you of corner windows. Corner windows aren’t often seen in homes but they have several great advantages: they bring much natural light to the space, they provide amazing views and they create a nook that can be used in various ways. I’d like to share some ideas and ways to style such a corner window nook to make maximum of it.
Corner Window Dining Nooks
A corner window and its windowsill are a perfect space for having meals, all you need to do is to build in a banquette seating or use an upholstered windowsill as a seat. Then add a dining table and more chairs if needed and voila – a cool dining nook is ready! You will get a lot of natural light, cool views and your meal space will always feel welcoming.

Corner Window Sitting/Sleeping Nooks
This is my favorite solution, I’m dreaming of a corner windowsill daybed. Such a daybed is an ideal space to spend hours chatting, reading, having tea or coffee and much more, here you can sleep and when you wake up, you can look at the stars or enjoy beautiful views. Add some lanterns and pillows, build in some storage space for them and for books and voila! You may also use a corner windowsill as a bench, add coffee tables and a sofa in front of it creating a cool conversation space. Such an idea is perfect for many living rooms and not only – such a nook can be located in a kitchen, bedroom or even on the stairs.
