Architect Anna Lotova began searching for the light-hearted, hidden humor in every material and medium, and the result was this Oxymoron desk. It’s composed of two alcantara-covered layers of foam placed between plywood sheets forming a “toolbox” to store documents, objects and technical devices (and you can put your hands inside to have a nap). The author thinks that the most common problems of the office workers are boring working surroundings, uncomfortable furniture and mess and disorder on the table. That’s why she created this cool and humorous desk – comfy, funny and original. What I like about it is its softness – it makes you relax and inspires for creative work.
