This edgy and eclectic house with a retro vibe in Paris looks heavenly beautiful and unique. The owners created the home design themselves, and they displayed an eclectic collection of possessions in every space.
The owners like dark and worn unexpected colors that they describe as ‘the North Sea colors’ because they have their own character. The living room is done in a unique shade of green, it looks soft thanks to it and faux fur and velvet that are used for upholstery and carpets. I love the wall leaf LED lamps that are unexpected but perfectly blend with the interior. A dark velvet sofa and a tan leather chair boldly stand out, and neutral chairs and ottomans complement the décor.
The kitchen is also moody, with a strong industrial vibe. Blue and green tiles on the wall rule the roost in the kitchen, dark olive green cabinetry sticks to the style. There are stainless steel and copper touches, which together with an exposed metal ceiling create an industrial space. The dining space offers a view to the terrace, and a glazed part of wall and ceiling flood the space with light, which is so important in a dark space.
The master bedroom is done in dark ocher, the lamps echo the color. The bedding is also chosen in moody shades, and bold artworks from the owners’ collection spruce up the space. The master bathroom features industrial touches and greyish shades. A worn vintage bathtub and an industrial mirror art piece give the bathroom a character.
