Everyone has a console here or there – in the entryway, living room, bedroom or somewhere else. As fall is approaching, it’s time to style your console table to welcome it. Fall leaves, pumpkins, faux and natural ones, corn cobs, nuts, acorns and all kinds of cozy blankets and pillows – this is just a part of the list of stuff you may use for decor. Here are some examples.
Pumpkins
There’s nothing more traditional for the fall than pumpkins, so using them for console table styling is natural, whatever your decor style is. You may go for natural or faux pumpkins, spray paint or decorate them in any other way or keep them as they are. Put them in bowls, trays, baskets or right on the table or even make a pumpkin wreath to hang over the table – containers mean a lot, they will highlight your decor style. Combine pumpkins with corn cobs, husks, fall leaves, various natural and faux fruits and veggies. Add plaid blankets and printed pillows in baskets for more coziness and put firewood into a metal bucket or a basket. If it’s a vintage console, put some porcelain figurines or various shabby chic accessories, if it’s a modern console, keep it uncluttered and don’t display too many details.

Foliage/Herbs
Foliage and dried blooms and herbs are another type of natural decor, which is very popular for the fall. Get some real or faux fall leaves to add color and seasonal feel to your home! Arrange them in baskets, vases, pots, put them on the table and make wreaths of them. You may also go for textural green foliage – dried or natural, and add white details for a chic look. Combine dried blooms like craspedia or cotton with white pumpkins and you’ll get a stylish fall console. Dried eucalyptus looks very beautiful, add real pumpkins in baskets, and you’ll get a beautiful modern fall console.
