What would you say to the same furniture collection for the whole house? The furniture for each room that looks the same and ties all of your spaces together? Making a series of furniture that look like they’re a part of the same family is quite a design challenge but designer Wiktoria Lenart succeeded in creating such a collection.
SPOT is a furniture series made primarily out of laminates, with each furniture item doubling up as storage. Almost all the furniture has an ‘A’ shaped cross section or design detail. This sets a visual standard, while also making items stackable. The design is clean, functional and, most importantly, modular; slim and light, SPOT’s blond wood and subdued colors create a neutral pallet that is easily accessorized.
The collection includes a lofted bed, single bed, a desk, a wardrobe, a dressing table and more that can be mixed and matched. The lofted bed comes with integrated drawers and wardrobes that tuck neatly away, while the single bed includes a space-saving drawer underneath. Detachable felt pockets are a useful and decorative accessory that can be hung from the A-frame of the desk or the rolling wardrobe for extra flexible item stashing.
