Here’s a cool sample of futuristic furniture – Desk 117 by David Hsu. The piece was inspired by stealth bombers – and it’s seen in its design – sharp edges and straight lines. It’s a very comfortable working space, large, with integrated power strip and cable-caching space. An embedded power strip provides electricity devices as well as lighting while cable-managing. In addition to a large access panel in the rear, there are multiple trap doors for monitor cables, ethernet cables, speaker cables, etc. It can be comfortably used by a person who still uses paper, and by one who uses a computer with a big monitor – there will be enough space for everything. Minimalist, futuristic and comfortable – what can be better?
