This mid-century modern home is designed by Deborah Berke Partners, and the long low silhouette of the house juxtaposed by the rolling earth is picturesque. The home is extensively glazed to fill the interior spaces with light, and the use of wood provides warmth. The furnishings are mid-century modern ones, very elegant and timeless-looking. Let’s take a closer look at some spaces.
The living room features a wood-clad wall with a built-in fireplace, there’s a black piano, an acrylic coffee table and a comfy brown leather sofa. There are elegant chairs and a bench, which create a very chic ambience. A large black piano adds a refined touch to the space, and a built-in fireplace brings coziness to it, everything here is thought over.
The dining room and kitchen are united into one space but the kitchen is a bit separated from the rest of the space: there’s an additional ceiling and wood that clads the corner of the house. The whole kitchen is done in sleek white, and the kitchen island is also white but the backsplash wall is fully clad with bold purple tiles. The dining space is done with a creative chandelier, a black dining table and brown leather upholstered chairs.
A small home office nook is done with wood clad storage units and a floating white desk and chair, it’s separated from the living room with a part wall. The other spaces of the home aren’t presented but I’m sure that they are no less amazing than these ones.
