Converting an industrial space into a living one making it cozy at the same time is a difficult task but this Portland home shows that the designers succeeded. The main advantage of an industrial place is lots of space and light due to the big windows, so in this home these advantages were highlighted: the windows were left as they were and the space plan is open to give an airy feeling. The interior is Scandinavian: black and white, vintage furniture and even a log stand to add coziness. The ceiling with beams was left as it was – that personalizes the space. If the owners want some privacy, they can use big curtains. Vintage, industrial chic and coziness in one – a winning cocktail!
