This unusual house is located in Novosibirsk, Russia, and it reminds of the proverb ‘My home is my castle’, it’s kind of Siberian fort. The first floor is a spiral space including all the functional zones: two cloak rooms, a guest room, a living room with a fireplace zone and a dining room combined with kitchen. The most of the surfaces is covered with cork, that’s unusual but looks stylish and besides, it’s eco-friendly and warm. The most of the furniture is the work of local producers and designers. The color scheme is neutral –beige and light brown colors add warmth. There’s also a greenhouse that outside looks like a glass cone. I love the amazing staircase design that was also created by the local designers. The architecture of the house is unexpectedly futurist, while the inside is very cozy and inviting. The combination of these two things is a success!
