This Isola furniture collection was inspired by the rocks lined up on a beach but to make it not so boring Gumdesign used colorful frames. The collection consists of seating and marble tables, all with bright yellow metal frames. The chairs and sofas sit low and are covered in muted gray pinstripes, which make the legs really pop. The cushions are square and rectangular in shape with curved edges, and when lined up they mimic the linear rocks they were patterned after; the fabric chosen was inspired by menswear. This fabric mixes well with bright framing and looks great even for a masculine interior.
