French designer Mathieu Lehanneur looked at the ocean to create a collection of tables, benches, and stools, which continues his Liquid Marble series. The pieces in the Ocean Memories collection look as if the rippling ocean water was frozen in time. They’re digitally designed and crafted out of blocks of marble or polished bronze yet the three-dimensional waves look just like that of actual water.
The polished, uneven surfaces reflect light, much like water does, further intensifying its ocean-like resemblance.
