Striking again with out-of the-ordinary products, London based Nir Meiri studio unveils its mirror and lighting collections — entitled ‘PairOfMirrors’ and ‘Black Swan’. For each, the final design explores an innovative play on traditional furniture and home objects.
In the ‘PairofMirrors’ collection, Nir Meiri studio has designed the objects to stand vertically with reflective surfaces positioned one above the other — creating unusual and innovative configurations. Furthermore, the mirrors are positioned in two different angles to create various perspectives for the viewers all at the same time.
Combining stone, metal and glass, the objects strike the viewer with the choice of colors, clear-cut geometries and textures. Indeed, to emphasize each item’s framework, the collection offers two colored versions — either with a greystone or redstone structural base.
For this collection, the final design is influenced by the close observation of a black swan’s distinct motion. Indeed, the flexibility of the lamps at the light fixtures imitates the movement of that particular animal when tilting its head — creating a natural flow, which is also reflected in the projection of light.
