It’s outdoor time as good weather is here, there’s enough sunshine and fresh air is what we are all striving for. If you have a patio and want to redecorate it or planning to create one but don’t know where to start, this guide is for you: we’ve prepared a couple of easy tips to follow to create a cool outdoor space you’ll never want to leave. Let’s get started!
Create Seating Groups
The base of every patio is the seating – it’s kind of an outdoor living room. Avoid placing as much seating furniture as you want and go for a stylish and comfortable seating group or several groups. First of all, find out what’s the focal point – usually, it’s a coffee or a dining table. Then arrange the furniture around it so that every piece faced it. You’ll also want to make sure that no piece of furniture would leave someone sitting with their back to the rest of the patio. Make sure that there’s enough walking room around each seating group.

Add Some Dining Options
Consider adding some dining solutions to your patio – doing so you’ll open up a whole host of entertaining options. A grill and a dining table or whole dining set is a must for a patio but if you have more space, why not go for a whole outdoor kitchen? Some drink coolers and other cool options are also welcome to make you and your guests happy.

Go For Accessories
Patios are often left unfinished as outdoor furniture is usually plainer in design and sometimes in colors as its main purpose is to withstand the weather patterns. This problem can be solved fast and very easily: just add some accessories. As minimum, add rugs and pillows – prefer bright colored and patterned options. If you want more, go for candles, blankets, potted plants and even mobile hearths to cozy up your patio as much as possible.
