Missed some mid-century modern beauty? Here I have it for you! This modern 1960 renovation by Gláma Kím is picturesque, it’s sure not to leave you indifferent.
The roof is a nice architectural element that shines on this home. The simplicity of construction and what is going on in the interiors is in perfect harmony. The wood slatted ceilings add a nice warmth and lengthen the size of each room. The furnishings and art are perfect and compliment the architecture very nicely. Now let’s take a closer look at some of the spaces.
My favorite room is a vast open layout of a dining and living space. The living room is done with a built-in fireplace and a couple of bold amber leather sofas that create a cool conversation space. A little bit further you can see a dining space with a table and some chairs. Large and bold abstract wall art pieces complete the decor.
The kitchen is small yet done with perfect taste. Sleek white surfaces contrast the dark wood ones creating a stylish and functional space. A white kitchen island is prolonged to feature a small breakfast space with a couple of white stools.
There’s a very cozy reading space separated from the large open volume: it’s a comfy glazed nook with a couple of chairs, a small table and a bookshelf, sitting here the owners and their guests can enjoy the views. Actually, any space of this home provides amazing views as there are glazed walls, which have sliding doors to give access to the deck.
All the rest of the spaces are featured here but I bet they are no worse than these ones! Get more of the beautiful spaces below!
