Storage may be an art! This is successfully proved by Alexandra Denton with Synapse Cabinet. This is a storage made of wood, metal and rope. There are 3 drawers of different sizes which are hanging on ropes – this storage reminds more of a surrealistic installation than of a usual dresser. The piece was actually inspired by brain: a matter filled with memories, the place to process knowledge, a space where information adds up. Synapse reveals the secret of being human. It’s a choice – what you want to store, and what don’t you want? It’s like forgetting and remembering what you want. It’s fascinating!
