Interesting combination of material always attract attention. Designer Erika Cross presents Jux, it’s a combination of 1″ acrylic and a natural live edged slab of wood. The tables were made form salvaged willow and scrap acrylic. These two materials represent two generations of manufacturing processes result in an unprecedented combination of technology and hand craft. The 2fold design proves sturdy with a running tongue and grove joint along the length of the material. Who knew that a combination of these two would look so cool? Pure minimalism and originality thanks to only two materials used. It’s an absolutely cool concept and amazing tendency to mix the things that we think can’t be mixed.
