Cluttering your home spoils the décor and makes the space look smaller. To avoid these issues, you need to declutter the spaces as much as possible and find its own place for each item. Today I’d like to share some tips of keeping utility spaces in order, I mean laundries, closets and pantries.
Closets
First of all, cluttering any space makes it look smaller, and closets are often small themselves, so you definitely don’t want it. Declutter the space with various drawers and containers, this will also help you to keep things clean, no dust will get inside. Closed storage always looks more neat and stylish than usual. If you have a lot of jewelry, keep it in drawers or boxes, too, not to lose and not to clutter the walls.
Cut down on your ironing time with an ironing board that’s always read to go. Hang a wall-mount ironing board near an outlet and store the iron nearby. Simply fold down the board when you’re ready to iron. There are also ironing board cabinets that can be recessed into a wall, and you can even hide a board in a drawer.
Laundries
A laundry is a dream of everyone who loves clean spaces and no clutter. Here there’s everything to keep your clothes and shoes in order: a washing machine, a drying machine, a sink to wash your shoes, laundry baskets and maybe also an ironing board. Here you can also store various necessary chemicals that can’t be stored in the kitchen or pantry close to food. All this should be stored without any clutter and in perfect order.
Keep the things in various cabinets and drawers if possible, use pull out drawers where possible, including the smallest space gaps next to the washing or drying machine. You can also hide an ironing board in the wall, place a litter box of your cat into one of drawers and use space-saving pull-out or fold up drying racks.
Pantries
A pantry is one more utility space that should be perfectly organized to avoid clutter and easily find whatever you need. Besides, here you have food, so the more closed the storage is, the less dust you’ll get inside it. So, welcome containers, drawers and boxes of all types! Sheer glass ones of various sizes and shapes, jars with lids and of course baskets and crates of all types for raw vegetables and snacks are right what you need. Make some pallet crates and buy some wire baskets for various items, add labels of your choice and get a perfectly organized pantry!
