Lindsey Lang combined modern day design techniques with a traditional craft to create this graphic tiles collection. The line covers two finishes, a classic and clean Encaustic finish or the Granito finish, which is a smooth, marble speckled look. Both tiles are handmade with color palettes that range from grey’s, pale yellow, mint, midnight and electric blue. The Encaustic tiles will keep their color and pattern but will naturally patina over time because they are made using an ancient process that was revived in Victorian times. But you can easily polish the tiles back to their original state. Granito tiles are made using the same process as the Encaustic tiles, but these are reinforced with fine chips of colored marble. The top layer of pattern is made using a blend of pigmented granite and marble aggregates giving it its speckled finish.
