Israeli designer Yaron Hirsch presents a cool concept called Animal – Vegetable – Mineral – it’s a three-piece collection of furniture: a clock, a lamp and a stool. They are of a combination of natural and white wood, with a special feature – long horned beetle beaten pattern. There is a unique charm to caterpillars’ meandering paths through Eucalyptus branches. In this project, the damage of the caterpillars to the tree is translated to functional and aesthetic elements. The name refers to the beetle, the tree and the plaster that Hirsch has poured into the tunnels. The design is minimalist and unusual at the same time, it would add an original and natural touch to any space.
