Caliber Collection was created using paints and guns that were destroyed to never destroy again.
Blank and undecorated walls may seem boring and we are looking for more and more ideas to fill in such a wall. It can be an accent wall – painted, covered with fabric, wood, stone and other materials. Wall murals are another good way to make your space unique and give it a character.
Black Crow Studios created the collection in collaboration with the Raise the Caliber initiative, a coalition of creatives dedicated to bringing awareness to the issue of gun violence through artwork. The Caliber Collection is a new collection of vibrantly colored wall coverings and fine art prints.
The guns in these images are all illegal guns that were released from evidence, or turned in during gun buy-back programs around the US. The guns have been destroyed–to never destroy again. Each print combines paint and photography to create “color bombs” resulting in a finished design that pops against any background. Twenty percent of all sales will go towards the Caliber Foundation to help fund gun buy-back programs across the United States.
The collection was created against violence and 20 per cent of money will be used for buy back program in the USA.
